Free Gun Removal & Dismantling
Sometimes it is not a safe time to have a gun in your home or you may simply not want it anymore but you are afraid if you sell it that it could end up in unsafe hands. If you have a firearm/s and would like to get rid of it we will dismantle them free of charge. If you are interested in this service, please contact us.
Gun Donation Details
We will arrange a time and place that is convenient to meet you, and we will bring the equipment to decommission the gun(s). We often do this at a church or in a parking lot or yard. It takes about 5-10 minutes per gun. Due to COVID, we will maintain distance and wear masks.
The gun(s) will never leave your supervision as the licensed owner, and no gun should be brought over state lines prior to being disabled.
We will document the decommissioning of the gun for our records, and invite you to do the same. We ask that you bring the gun unloaded, and locked, if possible. After we have cut the gun according to legal guidelines, it is no longer considered a firearm, and will never be operable again, nor fall under gun regulation. The gun scraps will be given to rawtools.org who forges the pieces into gardening tools. Sales of our tools go to towards our next gun buyback.
